Like a lot of you I don't think I could do a top ten and I would have found it hard to even pick a No.1 until "up". Only No.1 pg song for me now is "Darkness"

Well....(deep breath and hand on heart), here's mine, in no particular order. I couldn't rank them, they'll get an inferiority complex.- No Self Control- I Grieve (Up version)- Secret World- In Your Eyes- A Different Drum- Digging In The Dirt- Downside Up (OVO version)- Rhythm Of The Heat- Growing Up- IntruderThere we go, Hurrah!! Now to finish the list of favourite songs by Irishmen that sound better on Wednesdays.

Here's my PG's Top 10:1- San Jacinto ? I had an argument with my wife about this song. I explained to her how, the first time I heard it, in the beginning of the song I thought ?This is not going to work. This is just going to be a bad trip, a disconnected piece?. And at the end of the song, I was saying to myself ?Wow! That´s what he meant! He had it from the start and I didn´t get it. Now I see?. And it still happens everytime I hear it. My wife do not agree. I´m thinking about divorce.2- Solsbury Hill ? Very personal to me. The best PG's lyrics. It tells something about my live. But I guess it tells something about everybody's life. A true hit.3- Red Rain ? Back in the 80´s, I was drunk, late at night, maybe high on something, with this friend which was fanatic about Led Zeppelin. Then he said ?I want to show you a song I just recorded?. I was expecting some early 70's rock, Jethro Tull or something, but what came through the speakers was 'Red Rain'. I was blown away. My introduction to PG.4- Washing of the Water ? You watch the video of 'Washing of the Water' from 'Play' you get peace of mine no matter how troubled you are. I do it from time to time.5- Digging in the Dirt ? Sometimes the least you want is peace of mind. A bit of energy really helps. 'Digging in the Dirt' rocks and is definitely one of my favorite PG's songs.6- Sledgehammer ? I know people say this is ?MTV generation?, too ?commercial?, etc. I don't agree. It's a hit, no doubt about it, but it is also a groovy song, packed with energy. Sometimes even sexy. I just love to do the steps on ?I've kicked the habit, shed my skin? part when I´m watching GUL. If I am alone, of course.7- It is Accomplished ? We all know, and the critics didn't get it, that Passion is a wonderful symphony in 21 movements, from a time when talibans were no threat and we dreamt of a unite world of different cultures. 'It is Accomplished' is a small, but beautiful, part of this symphony. The name of the song says it all. I love the beginning bells, the drums, the burried vocals... and when that keyboard sound comes I can't help thinking about UFOs taking over our planet (???!). I guess I'm crazy. 8- Biko ? Do I have to explain?9- Games without Frontiers ? I was in doubt between this, 'In Your Eyes' and 'More than this'. But 'Games without Frontiers' is so creative, so multicultural, it's range is so broad and yet a pop song, that I had to choose it.10- Darkness ? When we thought that he was getting old, he came with 'Darkness' (and 'UP'). What is it? Industrial PG rock? I don't know, but it's great.Well, sorry about some stupid comments. I just wanted to share that PG is part of my life. Part of everyone's life in here, I suppose.ps: I don't mind if I/O takes ten years to be released, but PLEASE: POV DVD until December!!! OK?

Here's my top 10 PG songs that need to be played more often LIVE: Rhythm of the Heat Mother of Violence Lay Your Hands On Me I Have The Touch Walk Through The Fire Intruder Moribund the Burgemeister San Jacinto That Voice Again Games Without Frontiers Sigh, I don't see my setlist choices reflected in my profile though, so I assume I didn't punch the right button somewhere. = Could some patient person _please_ explain to me how to create the setlist in the Profile? I entered my song selections in my Profile's "Search" field with the requested "+'s" and all, but they did't show up when I rechecked my profile. Thanks in Advance :-]
