Hi all, I am nearing completion of my intense collection of Peter Gabriel's B-Sides and Non-Album Tracks/Rarities. I would like to share my lists with you, and have your knowledge advise me on any mistakes or additional tracks I may have overlooked. I thought it easier if I just put links to each list, rather than paste them all here, and make a GIGANTIC post! Thanks for taking the time, Lewis. www.lewisslade.com/text/PG_TRACKS_STUDIO.txt www.lewisslade.com/text/PG_TRACKS_ALTERNATIVE_REMIX.txt www.lewisslade.com/text/PG_TRACKS_LIVE.txt www.lewisslade.com/text/PG_TRACKS_OTHER.txt

AWESOME! I have had most of these on LP, cassette, or bootleg. Will review them soon, looks close to complete, great work.

Thank you my friend! It's taken a while, but I've made sure quailty is not compromised!

I *love* those lists: I myself have amassed some GBs of weird PG material - going to compare the lists to see if there is something I am missing.

We should all compare, and help one another make it complete! x

After a quick look, did you get "Snowflake"? Here is a reference - music (david rhodes/pg) and voice. http://www.amazon.com/Snowflake-Peter-Gabriel/dp/B00000I2K7 When this came out I was the first one to show it to PG and David Rhodes. (1993) They were both blown away that someone owned it and let alone heard of it. Great list. I will definitely take a closer look to make sure I have everything too.
THOM 9 October 2012 at 6:51pm Posts: 45 (0 today) Status: online
The music of Snowflake is not by PG - only by David Rhodes. Peter did only the reading of the story.
lewis_slade 9 October 2012 at 9:47pm Posts: 5 (0 today) Status: offline
Yes, I knew about Snowflake, I thought including a reading would kind of take away a bit of the enjoyment from the compilations! It's a story anyway, stands on its on merit. Thanks for saying about it though, that's what these lists are all about x

Peter does narrate cd2 but the track come home to me now is a song he sings its a nice track
THOM 10 October 2012 at 5:20pm Posts: 45 (0 today) Status: online
I'm pretty sure, that is not correct. At least the version I have is definitly by David.

THOM is right: PG only did the narration, the songs are sung by David Rhodes

Very sweet on the ears. Both David's playing and Peter's singing.

There's an alternative version of Big Time - a much earlier one I think than the final studio recording (I heard it with an introduction from an American Radio presenter, so presumably taken from a documentary or feature) - the Bass doesn't kick in until after the first verse, don't know if this is documented elsewhere?

Wow! All of this is amazing to me and thanks to all who keep such things and then share them with us all. So very nice and a lot of hard work put into it I must say what I've always said. I am a longtime loyal fan of pg's but do not have nearly as many collections of things as many of you. My Box of PG would pale in comparison to these items here but I'm still a fan of pg albeit one who has mostly memories and not so much physical proof of how much I like him Thanks again for sharing all that you have. Kind regards
