Merci Darcy, returned with thanks (I really must get rid of this crazy scary looking' fish thang!)

I have been wondering what the story is with that fish, One of Us, lol.

I think a box set, something like Sting's recent "25 Years" would serve better. Incidentally next year it'll be '35' years solo for Peter (PG#1, 1977)... hint hint Mr Gabriel!

lol, I agree kjl82, but that's a different answer to a different question. It would be wonderful, but with PG....unlikely?

Thank Cod that fish has gone!

LOL, cute! But I still see your "Fish" avatar, if that is what you meant? If not, sorry. I am still on my first mug of coffee and only awoke about 30 minutes ago. Still have morning brain fog.

Hey Darcy, I hope you can now see a cute little stoat! Much less fightening...although I still have a nasty nip when cornered
Soul Reader 7 December 2011 at 3:42pm Posts: 3479 (0 today) Status: offline
Nope, the half skeleton fish is still showing. Sometimes when I try and change my profile picture, I get an error msg stating that the picture is to large and the old picture remains. Try to change it again with a different picture maybe? Hit the refresh button twice (while staying in your profile admin section). *takes note of the cornered nipping habit of yours*.

When I used Mozilla Firefox your avatar is a ferret, OOU. (Is that what you mean by stoat?) Yours is different on there, too, Soul.

A ferret? Can't wait to see the picture! I adore ferrets and used to have a almost pure white one with pink eyes, called "Lucy". She was just the most fantastic little girl. Full of intelligence and inquisitive personality. She would follow me around the house just like a dog or cat would. Due to raising her with a lot of hands on interaction, she was very bonded to me and I her. Loved it when she would just jump sideways into the air and laugh (anyone who has ever spent enough time around Ferrets would be familiar with how this laugh sounds). I've actually been seriously thinking about getting another one. I had to give my Lucy a new home when I was put in the Wounded Warrior Unit back in 2006, as the base Commander would not allow me to keep her in the barracks. Even though he allowed me a dog (Dr. ordered pet therapy for me to help with my PTSD). Really crushed me having to say goodbye to her. Here are a few pictures of my adorable little (ok, she was a fat little girl, lol) Lucy: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v247/silentwoman/babygirl2.jpg Peek -a-boo http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v247/silentwoman/babygurl.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v247/silentwoman/Picture102.jpg

oh heck I don't know. I see a stoat! Great photos SR, Lovely! regarding the stoat/ ferret issue, BTI, here's my take: "stoat and ermine are the same animal, Mustela erminea. They are only referred to as ermine when they turn white for the winter. Ferrets however, are the domesticated descendants of the European polecat (Mustela putorious). They are not to be confused with the black-footed ferret (Mustela nigripes) of North America, which is a completely different species." phew!

Thanks! Maybe I am supposed to see the fish avatar for some reason? Maybe the Cosmo's are trying to make me "See" something, or or OR maybe its just a tech thaang on my part. *shrugs shoulders*. Good background history on stoats and ferrets. I think I am not the only one who loves watching Nat'l Geographic and or Animal Planet? Either way, have a briliant day/evening!

While I am sure you are indeed a cute stoat, I still see that blasted fish! Going to try using Firefox. Grrrrrrr!
