Last week Amazon.co.uk made available the various New Blood releases there are going to be — amongst them the Deluxe Edition (a photo-book including the concert DVD and Blu-ray, the studio album and a live album). Now I see they've taken it out. This is/was the direct link: http://goo.gl/ypc09 Gone. However, they haven't canceled my pre-order, yet the item is unavailable when I try to access it through my "Open orders" page. Anyone have any information about this? I e-mailed Amazon about it, waiting for them to reply. Antti

Received a reply from Amazon, which in its evasiveness merely gave away the fact that the employee "answering" my question didn't know why the page has been deleted. Hopefully this isn't as grave as it looks like, since its disappearance doesn't look like a delay of some sort. It looks like it's been pulled out for good. I don't want to think the glass is half empty, but usually Amazon doesn't take stuff out that easily, at least in my experience. We'll see. I'll write something here if something happens with my pre-order.

By the way, Amazon now lists the DVD and Blu-ray releases as being released on October 24th. Weren't they originally to be released on October 10th, or am I mistaken? The Deluxe Edition was supposed to be released on October 24th.

Just pre-ordered my "Deluxe package". Yippee !! Caste. The "book" also contains DVD, Blueray and CD versions of the recordings as well as snippets from the rehearsal sessions and a foreword by PG himself. All in all i think it will be a good treat and at £31:00 including postage and packaging not as bad a price as i had feared (In relation to the overpriced prints released last year) Cheers, Pompy.

Re New Blood Deluxe Edition Contains New Blood Live In London DVD and Blu-ray, New Blood (studio album), Live Blood (highlights recorded at the New Blood Live In London show), housed in a 60-page hardback photobook. It says "Studio Album". Is this the basic studio album or will it be the 2 CDs from the Special Edition CD which contains Instrumental versions????? It doesn't appear to be clear..... Does anyone know ? As I don't want to order it if it is going to force me to buy the Special Edition CD as well ... to get the instrumentals

Hi, I too wanted to buy the deluxe version and it appears there's a bug in there somewhere........ Anyway, I went back to the start and was successful by going into the Womad shop and buying it there - it all worked very simply. I suspect nothing to worry about overall!

My box set has finally arrived !!! Very nice book and great photos, i wish that was my job. The back of my head is in a few photos also !! The biko double spread, second page , front row second from middles holding my flip camera !

Still waiting on my deluxe set ordered many weeks ago. Anyone else still waiting?
