I don`t think so:
I think the aim of PG`s marketing team is to promote the "new" stuff -
still the new songs on "Scratch My Back"-covers album
plus -
the rearanged material to be released on the "New Blood"-CD.
So you have 2 items (with DVD 3 items) to promote - if people want to hear these songs, they have to purchase these items.
Certainly many fans like the live-versions, as they also show up new arrangements or at least some differences to the studio-recordings - Peter`s style of singing or the additional vocals by Ane Brun.

My USB stick for the Wantagh show arrived yesterday. It was sent out by The Music.com on 11/15 according to their website.
Nice to relive the show. PG was in fine voice. You can hear quite a bit of crowd noise between songs and on some of the quieter numbers. I'm glad I wasn't sitting in that section.

I received my Tour Box Set last Thursday, 12/13. So, far only listen to the Detroit show (I was there) and San Jose (for Humdrum).

I finally had a chance to listen to Denver - Red Rocks and agree the sound quality is one of the better shows.
