I've been driving myself crazy(ier) wondering if I heard what sounded like Peter's voice and "signature sound" in a version of the Christmas classic "Little Drummer Boy." I was in a grocery store that plays alternative Christmas songs over the holiday - possibly using a satellite radio station - and this song stopped me in my tracks. My husband confirmed it sounded like his voice and instrumentation. I thought it could possibly have been recorded for a "Princes Trust" or "A Very Special Christmas" collaboration with many artists, but I can't find any such record in various discographies. Has anyone else ever heard of this? Thank you so much for your time.

Hello Ksharrell, I've never heard of PG doing this. The only one I've heard is the David Bowie one with Bing Crosby, though I know there are lots of other versions. No offence to the song but I can't imagine PG doing it -doesn't really seem like his thing. I could be wrong of course. . .

David Bowie does a version. It's quite nice. Maybe that's what you heard?

Bob Seger did a version for the MTV Christmas charity album back in the 80's I believe.
