Is there someone who knows what became the song "El Salvador" which was dropped from "US"? I don't think Peter used it later in a recycled form for "OVO" or "UP".

Yep, recycled I guess, like I wrote in another thread.
Prior to reading this one.
A case of telepathy? Great minds think alike? :-]
The dangers of compulsively collecting PG stuff? In that case, I think it's better for one of us to stop immediately. I suggest you. :-] :-] :-] :-]
Seriously: I do think he reused almost all the tracks he mentioned in various interviews during the years, like we withessed with Why Don't We/Get on Back/Family Snapshot - and that soundcheck from Ferrara '83 which clearly beaome Kiss that Frog nine years later.
When we see something like this in Italy, we say that "It's like with a pig: nothing gets wasted", meaning it's a good thing - but I don't know how flattered Mr. Gabriel would be if he knew it.

And Birdy is a good example of recycled PG music!
But he must have demos that were never used, like "John Has A Headache" from the PG4 sessions. It would be nice to see them released officially. More PG stuff to buy for avid crazy collectors!

Ha ha ha Caste, you are unique!
As we say "del maiale etc. . " (". . like a pig, nothing gets wasted",it's funny, but lovely, compare it with music of Peter :-].
If Peter read this,i think he laughs a lot! :-]
p.s. it would be fantastic an official track of "Why don't we?". . . .Oohhhhhhh

Sometmes I think PG tells interviewers that he has all these songs in the works when actually he doesn't. Well, it's a good strategy. It's worked for about 30 years now. :-]

I also think so Rraven. Each time PG releases a new album, he always says that he has enough tracks to release another album very soon. If he has so much unreleased tracks, why did he decide to release a cover album instead of new material?

I've got a bad feling there are 2 possible reasons, Sammy:
1) PG has lots of material that he doesn't think is finished (although 99% of other artists wold release it anyway)
2) PG is purposefully building a large archive of songs to be released after his death in order to help fund his charities and help out his family.

That would be too crazy even for PG's standards.
