? I don't recognize it. What's it from? Or did he only do it live? Is it a cover? The live version I heard was really good.

Co-written with Tom Robinson in about 1979. TR wrote the words and PG the music I believe. I remember it being played on the 1980 tour of England, and the lyrics were hand written in the tour book by PG In the same style as the lyrics on the inner sleeve of the vinyl version of PG 3 (or Melt as it became known). Perhaps it was recorded for inclusion on the record but got edited? Anyway, I've only heard the 1980 live version myself. I was never too fond of it actually, so I was pleased it didn't make an album! That's all I know.

Thanks! I liked the way he used his voice in the live version. I always love finding little gems like this. Is it on the B-sides set?

There is an instrumental version as well as a studio version available on the net somewhere. The instrumental version is called Ken and the Wheel, the vocal version is called Bully for You and the official version is on one of Tom Robinson's album of the time (without Gabriel). I for one love the Gabriel version and wished he had included it in PG III (Melt) instead of maybe And Through the Wire as stylistically, heavy drumming, great bassline and ambient noises are very much in the style of Intruder. Definitely recorded during the 1979/1980 recording sessions.
