O. M. G. just got Passion in the mail yesterday and built up the anticipation so waited until today to listen. 3/4 through - in "Passion" now. no wonder so many lunies love this best. it is absolutely magnificent music, and the precious gems of PG's vocals drop in like the welcome sound of a lover's footsteps.

A wonderfully apt description of PG's voice on Passion Elliotte. Thank you.

you're quite welcome, Duddy. i hoped it didn't sound like "too much," you know? i'm not much of a poet. Rraven, a beautiful loss! lost my PG concert virginity earlier this year. and PG 2. and i plan to continue the lovemaking with PG's records! :-]

Passion is a MASTERPIECE

Jen, i KNOW! i really really KNOW! got it playing again now. so many have mentioned it as brilliant, but i let me dislike of christianity get in the way. . .i am sore tempted to bite the bullet and purchase absolutely every artwork PG ever created, contributed to, or touched. if i believed in a god, it would have to be PG.

Don't worry, the evangelicals hated anything to do with the movie "The Last Temptation Of Christ" because it showed the humanity of Jesus Christ. If you are interested the movie is decent, the soundtrack as we know is brilliant and the book is better than the movie (except for the music!)

"if i believed in a god, it would have to be PG." Actually, he hates being called that. He even does this little cringing motion if anyone calls him "a genius."

That's because he's humble, one of the things I really love about him

i agree, Jen. his humility is SO attractive.

It really is SO attractive and it says a lot about US that we can appreciate it, in fact it MELT(s) my heart when I think about it. It's the same feeling as when someone decides to SCRATCH MY BACK, or when I go for a nice drive in the CAR. It may sound crazy but I get a real sense of SECURITY just thinking that there are people like PG on this BIG BLUE BALL we call planet earth. UP til now I did not know that such nice people existed and it just gives me a PASSION for life that I never had before. It makes me a nicer person as well. The other day I saw a nasty little boy SHAKING THE TREE in my front yard, he was trying to get the little BIRDY to fall out, well my first thought was to HIT him but I thought better of it and just asked him to stop. We had a nice little talk and I explained that the birdy needed to get back to his SECRET WORLD (a)LIVE. He understood and asked me to accompany him to a taping of a TV show where all the scenes are like little PLAYS LIVE in front of a studio audience. LOL Can anyone tell me how to fit OVO in there?

This is my favorite album. You can listen to it while you do things and it creates a mood that is both comforting and stimulating.

PASSION is a soundtrack to not just a film, but a very incredibly formative time in my life. It has always had an outstandingly powerful effect on me. The soul-touching kind. Timeless. To say it is emotionally stimulating is a great understatement. One of the greatest joys of my life. Thanks for the magic.

Good to hear from another Passion devotee! Welcome to the Moon Cynajen. Having just got hold of the 'Passion -Sources' CD I am listening to what inspired PG. Some beautiful stuff on that. Well worth a listen. Currently listening to Shankar and the Epidemics! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cbimKNih7g
