Peter Gabriel`s style of making music - especially the structuring of a song, the use of sounds, samples, rhythms, programming, exploring new vibes and being a pioneer with fairlight and also synthesizers - has not only influenced rock-acts, also pop-acts.
An Electro-pop-sound project should include different artists and musical brains - "Lay your Hands on PG" !
In the past Peter already worked with acts like MASSIVE ATTACK ("Games Without Frontiers") and TRICKY ("Growing Up") from the Bristol/UK/Trip-Hop-music-scene - all these guys would be hot candidates again like top-producer NELEE HOOPER.
STEVE OSBOURNE ("The Tower That Ate People", "Growing Up") and WILLIAM ORBIT ("Mercy Street", "Kiss That Frog- Mindblender-mix") - 2 icons I would also like to name.
Iceland`s one and only BJOERK - she is amazing on each and every of her albums - she also helped to push Madonna`s career ("Bedtime Stories, also Bjoerk-influenced : "Frozen", "The Power of Goodbye")
The PET SHOP BOYS from UK - they already worked with David Bowie, Robbie Williams, Liza Minelli, Dusty Springfield.
DURAN DURAN (band-members John Taylor and Nick Rhodes are Peter Gabriel-fans) and MARTIN GORE (DEPECHE MODE).
Finally I would also like to see NILE RODGERS from CHIC ("This is the Picture", "Out Out") back on board - he is surely the master of FUNK and FUNK-POP. Peter Gabriel`s biggest and finest tracks are "Big Time", "Steam" and "Sledgehammer" to my ears.
There are also other acts like PAUL VAN DYCKE and STEVE OAKENFOLD, who already got in touch with Peter in the past.

I would also like to add these here:
DEEP FOREST ("While the Earth sleeps"), TRENT REZNOR from NINE INCH NAILS ("Growing Up") and top-producer FLOOD (U2, Nine Inch Nails), German techno-DJ SVEN VAETH, who names Gabriel as one of his influences.

It's a great shame the Gabriel/BT project never came off and the recordings were lost or stolen. I would love to have heard those results!
Personally I'd like to hear a PG album produced by FLOOD.

yes BT - he was also involved in another project for Realworld. One track appeared on the "Long Way Down"-soundtrack (Realworld) and a release of this project - was anounced to be released "soon" - that was 2 years ago.
There were a few tracks recorded around the time of 2003/04, which got this kind of electro-sound like the studio-version of "Animal Nation" and "Baby Man", but also the amazing and wonderful "White Ashes".

Ah, sorry I thought you were talking in initials, much like we always say "PG" and stuff. But thanks, just looking up that guy!

They thanks Duddy!
Wow this part here:
"One of the FireWire hard drives that was stolen included my sound library since I was 15 years old"
Sh*t! Poor guy. That must have been freaking hard to take, woo. Pity! Stupid thieves. They could have given the files back to him somehow. . .what would they want to do with them anyway? Sell them? Even worse if they simply deleted them.

But:
"He also learned from Gabriel on Tuesday that the British singer had saved a copy of most of their collaboration."
So where is that material?

I have uploaded a cover-pic of BT`s "Real World"-sessions on my "Warm Up 2007"-gallery (the 1st pic):
- BT and Sasha - "The Real World Sessions"
- (July 27 - August 1, 199

tracks:
1. "Cry to the World"
2. "The Warrior Song"
3. "Da ka ne" (feat. Ayub Ogada, B`net Houariyat)
(still not officially released, I think)
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
BT is "Brian Transeu" as it seems.
random notes for freaks:
- Ayub Ogada can also be heard on "Only Us"
- B`net Houariyat`s percussion was used on "Running To The Rain" (middle-section of the song) from the "Long Walk Home"-soundtrack.
