Thank you for making me feel most welcome!

Here's a progress update about the rehearsals for Kiss of Life in view of that concert coming up in December.
First of all, my singing instructor and I settled on "Shaking that bottom" at the end. It kinda makes sense in the context of the song, with that big woman dancing.
I'm hitting the notes and nailing the rhythm pretty good. One third of the job is done. Now begins the hard part : interpreting the song, give life to it.
Can I ask you long timers if there's are interpretations of the song hidden somewhere in the confines of this Forum and point me to it if it exists? If not, what's your take on it?
So far, I haven't given it much thought yet, I see this song being influenced by one of Peter's trips to Africa. I can see him being caught in a trance, watching this big black African woman, topless of course, as part of a local ritual or feast and being fascinated by the beauty of her celebration of life, dancing for everyone, being so full of life and making everyone around her fully alive, burning with her kiss of life (her "kiss of life" being her dance, her smile when she does so, her "celebration of life") she instills in them. The bridge section is just a metaphor (I think) to say that even if you're the most boring human being ever, a totally lifeless and inert being, that big woman is going to invade your very soul and transmit her taste for life with her dancing.
Am I way off or this could be a very valid interpretation of it? Aww, if we could ask the man himself!.
Thanks!
Marc
