I know this started with Kiss of Life but we're off thread topic again! I only kept with this becasue Cimber mentioned PG's teenage years! :-]

The getting off topic all began with "THE FUNK"! "Kiss of Life" has definitely got "THE FUNK" factor, so we're not really off topic as far as I'm concerned! Rules are made to be broken anyway! :-]

. . ."Kiss of Life" - maybe a mix of "carnival in Rio" (people dancing) with pictures of Peter in "monkey-mask" ("Plays LIVE"-cover and other live-shots) - also some real kiss of life-scenes. . .

What about including lots of people face to face whether kissing or just being together and getting ot know each other. Breathing life into one another! Lots of dancing in the dark.Fire and sparks flying up into the air. And somewhere the sea.

Great ideas Cimber! Life is the greatest gift one can receive/give, IMO. In my mind I also think of birth. . .one being born with the "Kiss of Life" so to speak.

Just then thinkking of turtles coming out of the sea to lay their eggs and later the tiny young dashing towards the sea. Sense of cycle, as MAK says birth-renewal, spirit-joy. I am listening to the song as I type this, you have to have your hands above your head waving them about and if possible dancing for Peter's birthday party celebrations.

And drummers, Mozo beating rhythm and the story out.

Can't forget about the "robust dancers" doing a "ritualistic" type dance Mozo! :-] :-]

. . .the energy, rhythm and atmosphere of "Kiss of Life" has to brought into a good visual form - also the fun, joy, that certain drive in the song - I like Duddy`s idea of sparkling fire, dancing, darkness - the song makes you dance, so "dancing-scenes" or people just having fun, whatever. . . ."down in the ocean lies a body in the sand" - is he singing that? - therefore a visual idea - the lyrics show it - . . .Peter also uses some kind of horn-arrangements in the song - those into visual form. . . . . .maybe also pics of other members of the PG-band from that era.

don't ask me why, ever saw on that song a kind of big black mama, taking in her arms a very tiny little man, deasappearing under the kisses!!! and what about "only us"? (stubborn) :-]

. . ."Only Us" was that song from the album that took the longest time in making - it was played a few times live in 1993 on the 1st leg of the tour. The art-work from the "Us"-booklet showing the couple is nice - it could play a central role in a clip. The lyrics speak for themselves - the contain a lot of images : Only Us - breathing Only Us - sleeping Only Us - dreaming. . . I realize "Only Us" is a favourite of many here, which is nice to hear.

. . .okay back to "Kiss of Life".

Two things collide and something new sparks off from that. Like two planets and a star spins off, two drops of water and a river flows. . . Or a desert has a drop of water and turns into a green landscape or lake, something new coming to life.
