My preference is for: PGII. . . Because i think is a real genius idea the scratch on the cover. (but every cover of Gabriel is fantastic too!)

The best for me is Melt! (PG 3) Fantastic cover! the face of our hero liquefied.

Having a look at Gabriel-LP-covers was always somehow interesting for me - long, long before the "Gabriel-meteroid" finally crashed into me - a breath-takin` image was the "Plays LIVE"-cover. Yes "II/Scratch", "Melt/III" and "Plays LIVE". . .

The "So"-cover is my all-time fav. PG cover; very simple yet beautiful. I also love that of "Plays Live" and "Melt" (PG III) respectively.

The art-works for the "Us"-album are also great. - for example "Digging in the Dirt" by Zush or "Blood of Eden" by Zadok Ben David . . .and - very cool the art-works/covers of the "Eve"- and "X-plora1"-CD-ROMs. "UP" also features art-works for each song, we also got some cool shots in the booklet of "Ovo". . .

I can't decide between II and III.well okay if I had to I'd say II. Hipgnosis made a lot of cool album covers.

This photographer is amazing.I think he has taken great pics of genesis too
DolceVita 27 October 2009 at 3:54pm Posts: 2323 (0 today) Status: offline
Yes,absolutely, Evoulini! I think today we must thank Armando Gallo with all our hearts, because the most beautiful photos of Genesis and Peter Gabriel of 70's are made by Armando. He was the first who followed them and photographed them since the early concerts, including many photos of our avatars comes from him. So,what can i say now? GRAZIE Armando! !!!!
