The good thing on an Afro Celt-album is this excellent and delicate production-work, that was made. I missed to buy the latest 2 albums - but the 1st 3 albums got a high quality - very good music.
Anybody who likes Loreena McKennit, Clannad, The Chieftains, Massive Attack, Enya, Björk, Sinead O`Connor, Deep Forest, "Big Blue Ball", traditional Irish Music or so-called "Celtic" music, and even synthie-pop acts from the 80ies or Kraftwerk and even Peter Gabriel will also surely like "Afro Celts".
We find "Afro Celts" on a few movie soundtracks :
-"Stigmata" (with Patricia Arquette)
-"Gangs of New York" (Leo DiCaprio)
-"From Jungle to Jungle" (Tim Allen)
-"Hotel Rwanda"
-"Long Way Down" (Ewan McGregor)
Beside all those "famous" guest singers like O`Connor, Gabriel or Robert Plant I personally like Iarla O`Lionairds voice AND songs most.
