Wouldn't it be nice if there was someplace (other than iTunes, etc - I don't have or want a credit card), where you could get hold of an album that contains all the little gems that Peter Gabriel has recorded for soundtracks? You know, the ones apart from Birdy, Passion and Rabbit Proof Fence.
Most recently, Wall-E benefited from his presence, but let's not forget Out Out (Gremlins), Walk Through The Fire [single version of course](Against All Odds) and That'll Do (Babe II) among many others.
For many of us, we can't afford to buy the whole OST for one track - nor is it appropriate for many of our collections to do so.
I think it is high time we had something that collected these gems.
What do you say?

There is an album called "at the movies" by sting from Japan. PG got 3 times more material used in films.
I remember the story of this young girl, who watched the "bone collector" - at the end of it she heard this one song called "Don`t Give Up", imagine what happened then.
There are so many films from the last years, that I actually only wanted to watch to see the scene, where PG`s music is played in the background.
Movies seem to be the only source to get new PG-material.
By the way it`s time for some movie awards for PG- still hoping for it - with or without comp.-album.
