Hi all,
Now 'Down To Earth' from the Wall-E OST has become available, I was wondering if it is also going to be released as a CD single?
I've yet a downloaded MP3 version, but I'd really like to have a full quality, original copy of it. But I'm not buying a complete album for just one track (and two short instrumentals, which are realy not that interesting to me).
So, does anyone know if (and when) a CD single becomes available?

No sure. I just got it on iTUNES. I LOVE this song. This is ready for an Oscar right now. It's perfect with the movie, but also amazing to listen to just like that.
Well done!

I bought it on iTunes yesterday.
Not so keen on it yet to be honest, but it will probably grow on me. It has the 'family fun' element that was present on Animal Nation.
Not really single material though - not in this day and age.

I want to set up a little campaign to see if the man himself will put together a compilation of all his 'one-off' tunes that he has recorded for soundtracks. That way, I can finally listen to a CD-quality version of (and this is important) the SINGLE version of Walk Through The Fire along with many of his other little hidden gems.
Who's with me?

Me, absolutely !
Sounds like the single version is different to the OST?
It drives me mad! I`d like to have "White Ashes" Live and I NEVER heard "Baby Man". The album-version of "Animal nation"? Oh, man.

I had to buy the WALL-E OST - you only live once and life is short.
"Down to earth" for heavy rotation on all radio stations ! - WHO CARES ABOUT THE GLOBES? :-] :-] :-]
