Sadly, it appears that the remaster SACDs are now out of print.
Should I try to pick them up on eBay, or is there any talk of new discs coming out?
I'd even be happy with reprints of the single-layer stereo SACDs.
Of course, if they were going to re-press the discs as hybrid, I'd be ecstatic. I'm definitely not holding my breath for multichannel, as that would require very significant remastering, and given the 16-track limit of some of the older albums, remixing for surround might not work very well.
I wouldn't even mind a shift to DVD-Audio, although I've always been fond of SACD's ability to play without requiring any video navigation.
Is there any talk about new high-resolution discs coming out or being re-pressed? Or should I resort to eBay?

This is a true nightmare. The 3 album SACD appears to be sold out pretty much worldwide. If somebody finds a copy somewhere, please post the shop.
I will try and get as many SACDs as possible. Now I regret I've been waiting for a price drop for so long.
I honesly have no idea what they're planning but if I were you, I'd try to get those SACDs while they last. With the recent online hype I don't expect anything audiophile to return.
It's a shame. The SACD back catalogue has been out for only 5 years and now it's fading fast.
