In Your Eyes

Following last year’s ‘Scratch My Back’ album, where Peter Gabriel reinterpreted a diverse selection of other artists’ songs, comes ‘New Blood’.

‘New Blood’ features re-imagined arrangements of many of Peter’s songs which dispense with the traditional weapons of the rock armoury – no guitar, or drum kits – the lyrics are exposed and laid bare, often taking new meaning with the passing of the years.

PeterGabriel Peter singing this morning with Melanie and our "core" amazing New Blood musicians. This arrangement was made just for this TV show.We even named it "the Andrew Marr version" on the sheet music. The full version of the song in it's studio form was released this week on all formats to suit all tastes... And if you buy it from Petergabriel.com you also get a New Blood version of Father Son free! P.s if you look closely you can see my messy handy work as I quickly needed to tape Tom's muisc to the piano. Sorry everyone! Have a good Sunday evening from "Dickie outside the studio for a change Chappell" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqDQkma2JPI View on Facebook to get more info, like this message and comment 16 October 2011 at 6:47pm
