Sending in information and material

  • Send in artwork/lyrics/poems Although Peter is keen to encourage new talent, to avoid any misunderstanding of plagiarism we have been instructed not to accept any material of this kind.
  • Send in/music/demo for Peter’s attention Because of Peter’s busy working schedule he rarely has time to listen to all the music sent in for him. If you would like to send music in nevertheless, unfortunately we are unable to acknowledge or return, and also can’t guarantee that Peter will have an opportunity to listen to it.
  • Send gifts to Peter Unfortunately, due to a lack of storage space we are discouraging people from sending items in. I hope that you will not feel offended by this response as we really do appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Real World Studios

  • Tour/visit Real World Studios requests Sadly we are unable to accommodate tours or visits as we are a commercial recording studio, and have to respect the privacy of our clients.

Music information

  • Sheet music for Book of Love The Book of Love was composed by Stephin Merritt of The Magnetic Fields and is featured on their album 69 Love Songs. As it is published by them you will need to contact the Magnetic Fields.
  • Sheet music for PG songs This is a project that Peter would like to do at some point in the future, but there are no plans at this time.
  • Inspiration behind Peter’s songs We will be creating a section on Peter’s web site to give the background to as many of the tracks as possible.

Tour questions

  • Backstage passes to meet Peter at show This is a very popular request. Sadly, whilst we would very much like to be able to offer people the chance to go backstage, we are unable to do so as passes are strictly limited to family, close friends and crew. I am very sorry to disappoint you and I hope that you understand our difficulty in this.
  • I would like to have the permission and accreditation to take pictures at Peter Gabriel’s concert Passes to photograph the shows are generally restricted to the press. We are therefore unable to grant permission for any other purpose.

General requests

  • Create a Peter Gabriel website You asked if it would be legal for you to use some material from petergabriel.com/realworld.co.uk on your website. Sadly, this would not be legal as it would infringe upon our copyright. However, we welcome fans to make their own fan-sites, indeed, we encourage it, but it should be done using your own materials.
  • Autograph requests Unfortunately, because there are so many demands on Peter’s time he has been struggling to fulfil requests for autographs. To avoid disappointment, we are limiting autograph requests to charities and fund raising events.
