OVO (The Millennium Show)
On June 12th 2000, Peter Gabriel released OVO, his haunting music to the Millennium Dome Show on Real World/Virgin Records. Written and produced by Gabriel, OVO is the end result of two years of work and brings together a multitude of different musical origins, cultures, instruments and guest vocalists. OVO tells the story of three stages of human evolution through the lives of three generations of a family. It is about a family in transition, divided by internal conflict and by the changes going on around them.
